vMix

Deploy a vMix image.

When you run a vMix deployment task, you will end up with a laptop that has vMix installed but not activated. If the laptop in question is a vMix laptop, then there will also be a file on the desktop called vmix_license.txt.

Activate vMix.

The laptop needs an internet connection in order to activate vMix.

As soon as you open vMix for the first time, it will ask for a registration key. You can find this key in vmix_license.txt on the desktop. Enter the key, click OK twice (confirming the default resolution settings), and you are presented with the main vMix window. A "welcome" web page will also open; you can close or ignore this.

Import settings.

You can build your show from scratch if you'd like, but we have a standard default configuration you can use as a starting point. To import it, click Settings, then Import, select markeys_default.config on the Desktop, then click OK.
