Network Configuration

Checklist

  • ☐ Install and power on the UDM Pro.
  • ☐ Install the 10GbE aggregation switch.
  • ☐ Install the primary switching infrastructure.
  • ☐ Verify WAN connectivity.
  • ☐ Log in using approved administrator credentials.
  • ☐ Adopt any unmanaged or unadopted UniFi devices.
  • ☐ Verify switch firmware and health status.

Note: The default UDM Pro configuration is suitable for most deployments.

Server Cluster Deployment

Checklist

  • ☐ Position all three server nodes.
  • ☐ Connect all server nodes to the 10GbE switch.
  • ☐ Verify 10GbE link status on each node.

Important

When using Lenovo P16 systems, connect the 10GbE adapters to the designated high-speed rear ports. Do not use side USB-C ports intended for standard peripherals.

Initialization

  1. Ensure internet access is available through the UDM Pro.
  2. Power on all three server nodes.
  3. Allow at least five minutes for configuration recovery and synchronization.
  4. Confirm that all cluster health indicators report normal status.

Validation

  • ☐ All three server nodes online.
  • ☐ No cluster errors reported.
  • ☐ Database services operational.
  • ☐ Network connectivity verified.
