Upload Stations
- Use matching Lenovo laptops whenever possible.
- If Mac file support is required, provide an appropriate number of MacBook Pro systems.
- Plan approximately one upload station for every 20 presentations during peak operating periods.
- Increase station counts for events with longer presentations or concentrated upload windows.
Presentation Laptops
Operated Rooms
- Two Windows laptops for presentation switching.
- One additional backup Windows laptop when required.
- One Mac laptop if Mac presentation support is needed.
Self-Service Rooms
- One Windows presentation laptop on the lectern.
- Add a Mac laptop when required by event specifications.
Venue Requirements
Presentation Distribution Network
Provide a dedicated "Dry VLAN" with:
- No internet access.
- No additional network services.
- One network drop in the Speaker Ready Room.
- One network drop in each presentation room.
Internet Connection
Provide:
- One hard-wired internet connection in the Speaker Ready Room.
- No captive portal or splash page.
- Standard DHCP addressing.
- Private IP addressing preferred.
Optional Connectivity
If venue internet is unavailable:
- Use the approved Pepwave 5G router as the WAN connection for the UDM Pro.
