Make sure you are using an MP4 file. These are not supported formats. .M4V .MKV .MOV .PDF .SVG If you are still having issues you might want to try reencoding it to a H.264 codec.  Handbrake is a great tool for doing so. 

Make sure that the cat5 patch cable between the media player and the panels is there and is clicked into both ports.  Other signs that this is the issue would include an error when you try to adjust the brightness in either Viplex Handy or Viplex Express.

Typically this will be because the poster is still set to HDMI input instead of internal. This can also be caused by the poster being offset on its x or y axis in Output Position. For typical single screen internal playbacks both X and Y should be set to 0.
