Set-up
- Using transmitter and receiver(s) of matching kit number
- The transmitter(TX) unit with power supply will be at the computer location
- The receiver(RX) with power supply will be at the lectern
- Each kit includes 1 set of 1 transmitter paired to 2 receivers
- And 1 transmitter paired to a single receiver
- When working with dual lecterns on a stage use 1 each of the matching receivers at each lectern
- These can be connected directly via CAT5/6 Cable or over an existing network
- In the case of dual lecterns a switch needs to be used to connect all 3 devices to the network.
- At the Control table set-up the KVM Switch with power supply
- 1 USB device cable to connect the KVM to the transmitter using the console connection on the KVM switch
- 1 USB device cable to connect each laptop to a KVM input
- Ignore the VGA connectors on the KVM switch
- Use an out put of you switcher to send video to the monitors on the Lectern
- At the Lectern set the 10” Beetronics Monitor and mouse.
- Connect these to the receiver
- A keyboard can also be connected but is not included in the Kit
- If supporting notes view it is helpful to the presenters to add a second Beetronics 10” monitor at the lectern 1 showing notes view and 1 showing the slide view. Try to set these so the mouse moves seamlessly from monitor to monitor.
