Audinate Dante
Audinate's Dante is an AV networking protocol that has now been incorporated into hundreds of manufacturers' products. The big one for Markey's is our Yamaha consoles, in which Dante is the only way they send and receive audio from their stages boxes. Dante can be both a blessing and a curse. It uses your standard 1 Gb network switches and Cat5e/6 cables, making it a cost effective audio distribution system. But it takes some IT knowledge to troubleshoot. This book is to give you tools to use with your Dante systems and common issues that we've run into and their fixes.
