Roland Camera Control

All models of Roland would need to be on the same network as the camera in order for these control methods to work.

vr-120 HD

Menu > Camera Control > Jump to Setup

Select which camera you would like to assign it to.

Switch the Protocol to VISCA over IP

Change the I.P. Address to the correct address for the camera.

The default port for VISCA is 52381 and should not need changed.

These settings can also be adjusted on the Camera Control Tab of the Roland vr-120HD PC or iOS App.

Once connected to Roland Camera Control the camera can be controlled on the Roland itself or through the Roland vr-120HD PC or iOS App.

v-160 HD

Menu > Camera Control

Select which camera you would like to assign it to.

Switch the Protocol to VISCA over IP

Change the I.P. Address to the correct address for the camera.

These settings can also be adjusted on the Camera Control Tab of the Roland v-160HD PC or iOS App.

Once connected to Roland Camera Control the camera can be controlled on the Roland itself or through the Roland v-160HD PC or iOS App.

vr-5050HD Mk.II

Menu > Arrow > Camera Control > Setup

Select which camera you would like to assign it to.

Switch the Protocol to VISCA over IP

Change the I.P. Address to the correct address for the camera.

Due to the absence of a PC or iOS App this method is not recommended but can prove useful in some sub-optimal situations.
