Quick Start Guide for Markey’s PRN/Freelancers

Markey’s makes use of the LASSO labor scheduling platform. This allows you to see the most current information regarding your schedule and other show info. As a requirement to work with Markey’s, please register with us on LASSO. This registration process is fast and easy and should only take about 10 minutes. The following guide was created to help you navigate the app and the registration process. 


  1. Register: Please register for LASSO using the following link:  https://markeys.lasso.io/register/ 

  1. Information: Please add as much relevant information to your page as you see fit. An accurate cell phone number and email address are mandatory.  

  1. Positions: During registration, you will be asked to select positions you want considered for. Please only choose positions you are currentlyconfidently able to fill. This can be updated after registration as often as needed.

  1. Access: After registering, we recommend you download the app. This will give you an easy place to view your schedule, receive work opportunities, and update your availability. We use LASSO to communicate ALL work opportunities. This will come through as an app notification and email, unless you specify otherwise.

You can also install the app by searching for “LASSO Mobile” in your respective app store. 

You can use your browser to view your schedule at: https://markeys.lasso.io/. TtThe app is necessary to receive push notifications for available work and changes made to your schedules. We recommend the app for the most seamless experience.

  1. Navigation: For an in-depth guide of the LASSO app please visit LASSO’s mobile support page. 

  1. Manage Availability: Working elsewhere or have planned time off? LASSO has the option to submit your future availability. Utilizing this feature will help reduce emails and save everyone time. You can do so by clicking the going to the schedule page and then clicking the suitcase icon in the top right. Then select the date, or range of dates you are unavailable.
