Amp Rack Wiring

INPUT

    "4-WAY IN" goes to the inputs of Amps 1-4
    "SUB IN" goes to the input of Amp 5 "4-WAY THRU" and "SUB THRU" are direct outputs from their respective inputs

    OUTPUT

      Amp 1 output Ch 1 goes to +/- 1 on the "AMP 1&2" NL8 and "AMP 1" NL4 Amp 1 output Ch 2 goes to +/- 2 on the "AMP 1&2" NL8 and "AMP 1" NL4 Amp 2 output Ch 1 goes to +/- 3 on the "AMP 1&2" NL8 and +/- 1 on the "AMP 2" NL4 Amp 2 output Ch 2 goes to +/- 4 on the "AMP 1&2" NL8 and +/- 2 on the "AMP 2" NL4 Amp 3 output Ch 1 goes to +/- 1 on the "AMP 3&4" NL8 and +/- 1 on the "AMP 3" NL4 Amp 3 output Ch 2 goes to +/- 2 on the "AMP 3&4" NL8 and +/- 2 on the "AMP 3" NL4 Amp 4 output Ch 1 goes to +/- 3 on the "AMP 3&4" NL8 and +/- 1 on the "AMP 4" NL4 Amp 4 output Ch 2 goes to +/- 4 on the "AMP 3&4" NL8 and +/- 2 on the "AMP 4" NL4 Amp 5 output Ch 1 goes to +/- 1 on the  "AMP 5" NL4 Amp 5 output Ch 2 goes to +/- 2 on the  "AMP 5" NL4

      NOTES

        The NL8 outputs are "3 way outs" meant for the VTX A12 speaker and the Vertec 4888 speakers.
          +/- 1 and +/- 2 are for the LF drivers +/- 3 is for the MF drivers +/- 4 is for the HF drivers The NL4 outputs are used mainly for the G28 subs woofers.
            NO MORE THAN 2 G28s PER NL4 AMP 5 is the default amp for the subs "AMP 1&2" NL8 is wired in parallel with "AMP 1" AND "AMP 2" NL4s; "AMP 3&4" NL8 is wired in parallel with "AMP 3" AND "AMP 4" NL4s
              IF USING THE NL8s, DO NOT USE THE NL4s THAT ARE WIRED IN PARALLEL WITH THEM, AND VICE VERSA.

              POWER

                CIRCUIT 1 is powering Amps 1&2 CIRCUIT 2 is powering Amps 3&4
                CIRCUIT 3 is powering Amp 5

                CAUTION: This amp rack will not have enough power to run concert level audio with the Mains and Subs together.  If needing concert level audio, contact Audio Department Head about options to get more power.
