Setting/Troubleshooting Instructions

In the case that your hoglet does not output DMX:

1.    Setup your lighting PC, your hoglet, and any other accessories being used for the show.

a.     Accessories should be plugged in before launching Hog 4 PC.

2.    Launch Hog 4 PC as normal.

3.    Load previous saved show or start a new one from the menu.

4.    Once your show is running, press SETUP on the console.

a.     Located next to the big PLAY button, above the HOG button.

5.    Press NETWORK in the bottom left of the built-in touch screen.

6.    In the window that popped up, click the 1 in the far left column under PROCESSOR

a.     The entire row should highlight in a faint blue color.

7.    Press SETTINGS at the top left of the window.

8.    In the window that popped up, click the OUTPUT tab on the left side.

9.    Click ADD MAPPING with the blue + next to it at the top of the spreadsheet.

10. In the window that popped up, change the second drop down menu to 4

a.     The first drop down menu should default to 1

b.    Click the check box for WIDGET then click OK

c.     The window will then populate the new universes into the spreadsheet.

11. The final step is to click APPLY and close the window.

a.     In some cases, you may want to close and restart Hog 4 PC. To close Hog 4 PC, press SETUP on the console.

b.    Click QUIT in the bottom right corner of the screen.

12. Re-launch Hog 4 PC as normal.

 

In the case that your faders aren’t responding to Hog 4 PC: 

1.    Setup your lighting PC, your hoglet, and any other accessories being used for the show.

a.     Accessories should be plugged in before launching Hog 4 PC.

2.    Launch Hog 4 PC as normal.

3.    Load previous saved show or start a new one from the menu.

4.    Once your show is running, press SETUP on the console.

a.     Located next to the big PLAY button, above the HOG button.

5.    Press CONTROL PNL in the bottom left of the built-in touch screen.

6.    In the window that popped up, click the WINGS tab on the left side.

7.     In the Playback Bar 0 row, choose HOG4HOGLET: #### from the first drop down menu.  

a.     Leave the second menu at LEAVE IN PLACE.

8.     Click DOCK in the same playback bar row.

a.     Lights should respond over your faders now.

9.    The final step is to click APPLY and close the window.

a.     In some cases, you may want to close and restart Hog 4 PC. To close Hog 4 PC, press SETUP on the console.

b.    Click QUIT in the bottom right corner of the screen.

10. Re-launch Hog 4 PC as normal.
