Moderator View vs Operator View / Logging In

ContentXpress offers two interface modes: Moderator View and Operator View, each suited to different room setups and show needs.

  • Moderator View is most commonly used in breakout rooms where the show laptop is placed on the podium for presenters to operate themselves. This simplified interface displays the current session and all presentations uploaded to it. Before the session begins, technicians typically prepare the laptop by pulling up the appropriate session. This allows presenters to easily launch their presentations on their own with minimal guidance.

  • Operator View is used in more involved breakout rooms or in spaces with tech tables and dedicated AV staff—mostsuch oftenas general sessions.sessions or more involved breakout rooms. It's built for technicians who are actively managing and displaying content during the session. This view offers additional features such as a notes panel, which helps bridge communication between the Speaker Ready Room and in-room operator.
