Keyboard Shortcuts

While these shortcuts aren’t something technicians will typically need, they can be useful if ContentXpress isn’t behaving as expected—like if a presentation doesn’t appear when you think it should, or the system seems stuck.

Shortcut	Action
`Ctrl` + `Shift` + `R`	Refresh – Force sync with server
`Ctrl` + `Shift` + `X`	eXit – Immediately minimize ContentXpress
`Ctrl` + `Shift` + `Q`	Quit – Immediately close ContentXpress
`Ctrl` + `Shift` + `A`	Allow all Windows – changes kiosk view screens to normal windowed mode to interact with the operating system.
`Ctrl` + `Shift` + T	Topmost – resets the window to kiosk mode

Each show laptop syncs with the server automatically about once per minute, so refreshes are rarely needed.
However, if a presenter says they just uploaded their file and you don’t see it yet, try using Refresh (Ctrl + Shift + R) to manually pull in the latest data.

If ContentXpress seems unresponsive, use Quit (Ctrl + Shift + Q) to close the program, then relaunch it—it’s often the quickest fix.
